The light is attracted to the melanin within the lesion , heats it up to 70 which effectively shatters the pigment, the shattered pigment then desquamates with the skin cells turnover where it will naturally shed and any remaining pigment will appear lighter.
10-14 days for the pigment to turn into dry skin and flake off completely.
No added heat to the skin for 24 hours.

How does it work?
Skin rejuvenation is a non-ablative process using a low energy SWT to rejuvenate the epidermis. When the skin is heated to at least 30C , collagen remodelling takes place in response to the vascular stimulation and this is what results in the reduction of fine lines and rhytides.
